Jag was a guest at the recent FSB event in Durham, which focused on business support from Business Durham through the shared prosperity fund. The fund will run until March 2025 and has already had many enquiries from SME's across the county.
Jag dropped some material off at First Choice Waste Management. First Choice is looking to crush the waste and process it through a hammer mill. The result will then confirm if the current waste stream can be re-used and prevented from going to landfill.
We had the pleasure of attending the recent EMN Conference in Newcastle. The event, which 100 companies attended, discussed staff recruitment and retention. Many speakers spoke on topics from experience, which was well received.
Jag welcomed Mr Andrew Robson from A-Squared Engineering to the site; Andrew came to discuss potential contacts in Tees Valley based in the marine sector. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to catch up.
Jag visited South Causey to discuss some of the issues raised at the last meeting. We are currently identifying small-scale energy systems that the team can apply to their site to improve their processes.
Elena Verrall visited the site to discuss our work on a new material produced from recycled waste streams. Jag is currently developing a complete synopsis for Suez to review.
